The university delivers student-centered undergraduate and graduate education in an urban context. This grant supports research by the Detroit Collaborative Design Center, a community outreach program of the School of Architecture, to model a future urban redevelopment on Detroit’s east side. It allows for analysis of options to use a daylighted Bloody Run Creek as an environmental model and green open space for the surrounding community.
